A new location for the water main has been found. This means that construction to bring the water main across Locust will move from the east side of the intersection at 3rd and Locust to the west side across from Verizon and the National Bank and Trust Company.
- Closure on Locust from 3rd Street to the entrance at National Bank and Trust Company.
- Will last approximately 1 month
- 3rd Street will remain open
- Vehicular access will be open to location between North 2nd and the entrance to the National Bank and Trust Company.
- Street closure notices will be posted at 3rd that note the bank parking and drive thru are open, but a detour will be necessary.
- Construction has started with televising. Pavement cutting should begin the middle to end of week of April 12.
