Downtown Streetscape Project:

S. Second St.
- Finish concrete this week
- On street parking on east side returns Wednesday, Sept 22 from Glass Gardens to the RXR tracks
- Pour Eduardo’s corner between Sept 24 – Oct 2 (weather dependant)

S. Third St.
- Finish removal this week
- Underground utilities week of September 28
- Pour concrete September 24 -Oct. 2 (weather dependant)
- Electrical Work September 24 – Oct 2

N. Third St.
- Install parking signs – PLEASE NOTE CARS WILL BE TICKETED AFTER 90 MINUTES!!!
- Lay sod at NIU Monat building week of Sept 28
- Install stamped cross walks Oct 2,3

N. 2nd St.

- Install parking signs – PLEASE NOTE CARS WILL BE TICKETED AFTER 90 MINUTES!!!
- Install stamped cross walks Oct 1 or 2 (weather dependant)

RT 38 & RT 23 RXR Closure:
Track closure will begin on October 5 and work will last up to 10 days. Truck detour will be posted and local traffic will divert to N. 3 for east bound traffic on RT 38 and S. 5th for west bound traffic.
Union Pacific will be removing and repairing the an approximately 350 ft of track in this intersection.

RT 38 Resurfacing:

- IDOT laying in leveling binder this week
- Week of Sept 28 manhole adjustments
- Week of Oct 5 paving
